Andrew has deep experience in counseling founders, startups, and venture-backed companies from pre-incorporation through pre-IPO.
He started his legal career on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Subcommittee on Privacy, Technology, and the Law. He worked on commercial dispute resolution at a major global law firm for several years, and then moved in house at Lyft, where he advised on regulatory policy across the United States. After Lyft, Andrew became the general counsel of Pilot Fiber, a venture-backed fiber optic Internet Service Provider in New York.
Andrew has worked as fractional General Counsel for several companies, including an AI-powered SaaS provider and a biotech startup. He also held a senior legal role at Knotel.

Annie assists clients with corporate governance, contract, employment, and litigation matters.​ Prior to joining Avorn LLC, Annie worked in the complex civil litigation practice of a boutique litigation firm in New York. She represented clients on both the plaintiff and defense sides in cases involving securities law violations, breach of contract, antitrust issues, trademark disputes, fraud, and other torts. Annie has also dedicated her time to pro bono matters, including an effort to overturn a wrongful conviction on the basis of a Brady violation.

Before attending law school, Annie spent several years at a strategic communications and public affairs consulting firm, where she worked to advance the communications and messaging goals of non-profit and corporate clients primarily in the education, telecommunications and financial services sectors.
